Triumphal announcement
The Five Star Movement triumphantly announced today that it had submitted one million amendments to the Chamber of Deputies, a clear attempt to prevent debate and approval of the amendments to State Law no. 157/92 . Commenting on the initiative was the Honorable Sergio Berlato (Brothers of Italy), leader of the Association for Rural Culture.
Expected changes
Berlato, in a video posted on social media, appeared largely calm: " We ask all political forces in Parliament to overcome this attempt at obstructionism and to implement the long-awaited changes to the law as soon as possible. This will provide adequate tools to those seeking proper management of Italy's wildlife heritage, as is done in the rest of Europe ."
The appeal to the Government and Parliament
There are situations that can no longer tolerate such considerations: " Above all, we must provide adequate responses to the many farmers who too often see their crops devastated by the excessive presence of wild fauna, which jeopardizes their income. It is our duty to all these groups, and we strongly urge the Government and Parliament to proceed without hesitation until these proposed amendments are finally approved ."
