Traditions to maintain
The 77th Edition of the Gussago Hunting Fair this weekend, September 7 and 8, organized in Località Casaglio at the C. Corcione Sports Center. Gussago is a provincial town that tries hard to maintain its Traditions; Hunting and Agriculture are two important voices for our Country. They have always been and Hunting and the countryside are two inextricably linked realities; there is good harmony between hunters and farmers so much so that the President of our Atc is a well-known representative of the provincial agricultural world. The program begins Saturday evening, September 7, with the dog show for all breeds, registrations open from 16.30:19.00 pm, show starts at XNUMX:XNUMX pm. In conjunction with the show, the Alpini of Gussago cook the Spiedo bresciano.
Double test
Sunday 8 September we start early with two tests, the first at the Fair, the 26th Ornithological Master organized by the AMOV association, a test of song for songbirds in the wake of the deepest tradition of Gussago, a land of fixed posts and, once, of numerous bird traps for the capture of migratory birds. The second, at the Quagliodromo Barco, a test on partridges without shooting for pointing and hunting dogs, another great tradition of the Fair. At the Fair there will be numerous exhibitors of professional hunting articles. At 10.00 on Sunday the official inauguration with the Authorities and awarding of prizes to the best classified in the bird singing competition.
Hunting themes
In the evening, at 19.30:XNUMX pm, there will be a conference open to the public with two regional councilors, Floriano Massardi and Carlo Bravo. The theme of the evening is challenging: “Hunting, the future that awaits us” an opportunity to discuss legislative issues regarding hunting.
