The announcement
With an official note, the UITS (Italian Shooting Union) has announced its absence from the 2026 edition of the EOS Show, an event that will take place for the first time in its history in Parma from March 28th to 30th. This is the press release: “UITS regrets to announce that it will not take part in the next edition of EOS 2026, an event to which it has always adhered with conviction and a spirit of collaboration.".
Extraordinary expenses
The reasons are quickly stated: “The decision is determined by the current provisional operating regime in which the UITS finds itself, a condition which does not allow the assumption of commitments relating to extraordinary expenses.".
The future
His presence or not remained in the balance until the very end: "Until the very end, we were confident that the administrative situation would improve, allowing us to confirm our participation; however, at this time, the necessary conditions to guarantee the financial coverage of the initiative are not in place. Renewing our appreciation for the value of the event, the UITS hopes to participate again in future editions.".
