Spotlights on
Another busy weekend awaits Italian clay pigeon shooting. The spotlight will be on the Italian Sporting Club Championship in Emilia-Romagna . The Italian competition for sporting clubs will be hosted by TAV Alto Reno (BO) and will consist of two days of competition. Participation is open to all shooters with a valid FITAV membership card for the current season, with the category classifications provided for by the regulations also for competitors from other specialties.
100 targets
The competition will be held over a distance of 100 clays, with members of each team simultaneously shooting on the same range. Teams will be divided into Groups A, B, and C. On Saturday, teams from Groups B and C will compete, while Sunday will be entirely reserved for Group A teams. Each club may enter up to three teams in Group A, each composed of six shooters, with a maximum of one Excellence athlete and two First Category athletes. The final ranking will be determined by the sum of the results obtained by the six members, for a total of 600 clays.
What can you win
In Groups B and C, each club may field up to four teams for each group. Group B teams will consist of three Third Category shooters, while Group C teams will consist of three athletes from the Senior, Veteran, Junior, and Ladies categories, with a maximum of two members chosen from among the Senior and Junior categories. In both groups, the rankings will be drawn over a total distance of 300 clays. In the event of a tie for the top three positions, the teams will compete in a further play-off series. The winning teams will be awarded the FITAV Trophy, the Scudetto Tricolore, the Italian Champion medals, and the federal prize money. The second- and third-place teams will receive the FITAV Trophy, medals, and prize money (source: FITAV).
