Thinking about next year
As the end of the racing season approaches for the Azzurri, it's time to take stock and look back on what 2025 has been: the joys of national and international podiums, but also the experience gained through failures.
The preparatory stage
Equally important is our focus on the future, marking the beginning of a period of intense work aimed at enabling our athletes to perform at their best in the new year, packed with important events both in Italy and abroad. As is tradition at the end of the season, the Italian Shooting Federation is organizing athletic training camps to closely monitor the fitness levels of the athletes who will represent Italy on international stages.
The protagonist athletes
The first of these training camps, led by National Team Athletic Trainer Edoardo Kirschner, is underway at the "Giulio Onesti" Olympic Training Center at Acqua Acetosa in Rome. It began on Monday, October 27th and will involve five specialists from the National Skeet Team until Wednesday, October 29th: Sara Bongini (Fiamme Oro) from Impruneta (FI), Giada Longhi (Fiamme Oro) from Longone Sabino (RI), Arianna Nember (Navy) from Lumezzane (BS), Damiana Paolacci (Fiamme Oro) from Rome, and Simona Scocchetti (Army) from Rome (source: FITAV).
