An unsolicited encore
For the second time in a few hours, the Administrative Court of the Tuscany Region has rejected the requests for suspension by the environmental and animal rights associations Leal Odv, Pro Natura Ets, and Oipa Italia Odv against the actions of the Tuscany Region.
The issues addressed
This time, the request for a precautionary suspension by the aforementioned organizations concerned, in addition to the pre-opening, the selective culling of fallow deer and red deer during the summer in non-suitable areas. Here too, the solid measures approved by the Tuscany Region, based on scientific data, did not yield to the ideological demands of the more extreme animal rights groups.
A very good sign
The collegial hearing on this matter will also take place on September 22nd, but the fact that it has not been suspended is already a positive sign. On behalf of all hunters, we thank the Region for its excellent work in defending hunting and the rule of law (the associations that make up the Steering Committee of the Tuscan Hunting Associations Arci Caccia, ANLC, and Italcaccia).
