An absolute novelty
As per tradition, the seventy-eighth edition of the Hunting Fair , organized by Federcaccia Gussago, will be held in Gussago on the second Sunday of September. The Fair opens on Saturday, September 13th, with the Italian "Agility Dog" championship trial starting in the morning. Dogs and handlers will perform for two days, as requested by ENCI, and this is a first for our event.
Ornithological Master
Also on Saturday evening, starting at 19.00:2 PM, there's another dog-related event: a Dog Show for all breeds, organized in collaboration with the Pro Segugio Leonessa group. The show will last all evening and will feature two special events: a memorial dedicated to the late friend Giuseppe Sabattoli, dedicated to the Pointer breed, and a special Hound show. Sunday morning begins early with the Ornithological Masterclass in collaboration with Amov; thrushes, blackbirds, redwings, larks, thrushes, finches, goldfinches, and siskins will be exhibited in dedicated outdoor spaces, and the public will have the opportunity to listen to their song.

Also on Sunday, a non-shooting partridge trial will be held from dawn to dusk at the Quagliodromo Barco in Gussago. At 10.30:XNUMX a.m. on Sunday, the Fair will officially open with the authorities. Another new feature on Sunday morning is the opportunity to admire a group of Labrador retrievers competing in an obedience and fetch trial. A well-stocked food stand will be available throughout the event, run this year by the local hotel school, the "Andrea Mantegna." The menu offered will certainly respect the traditions of our region. There will be nothing missing; admission to the Fair is free, and we look forward to seeing you there.
