Far away journey
What connects our Alps to the peaks of Tibet ? Much more than we can imagine. The world's mountains speak the same language of fragility, beauty, and resilient communities. And that's precisely why last Friday, July 17, the UNA Foundation had an extraordinary experience: it flew to the Tibetan Plateau to participate in the 5th Trans-Himalaya Forum. Why does an Italian organization like the UNA Foundation go so far? Because it believes that protecting biodiversity has no boundaries. Only through exchange, mutual inspiration, and collaboration between different cultures can we find the answers to caring for the planet.
Stories of sustainability
Marina Berlinghieri (Head of Institutional Relations) and Corrado Teofili (member of the UNA Foundation Scientific Committee) brought to this prestigious international stage, before over 200 delegates, ministers, and members of the World Economic Forum, the voice and work the foundation carries out every day in our inland areas. The two shared stories of sustainability that work:

Strong emotions
The emotion and welcome were incredible: Dai Bin, Head of Tourism Research for the Chinese Government, publicly endorsed the UNA Foundation's proposals, commenting on the experience as follows: " This journey fills us with pride and reminds us of our deepest purpose: human beings are not alien to nature, but its most precious guardians. And today this bond is a little stronger, from the peaks of Italy to those of the Himalayas ."
