Constituent Assembly
The founding assembly of the National Union of Wild Boar Hunters (UNCC) of Campania was held at the FIdC provincial headquarters in Benevento on September 12th. The meeting brought together representatives from all the provinces, marking an important moment for the category and for wild boar management in the region.
A coordinated action
The creation of the UNCC responds to the growing need for coordinated and unified action to address issues related to wild boars. Among its primary objectives are the protection and sustainable management of the species, while ensuring public safety and the protection of agricultural crops.
Sector regulation
Its goals include promoting ethical hunting, collaborating with institutions to implement effective management plans, and raising public awareness of the critical role hunters play in wildlife management. The UNCC also aims to become a point of reference for legislation and regulation in the sector, bringing hunters' voices to all decision-making bodies. The Regional President of the Italian Federation of Hunting and Sport (FIdC) and several Provincial Presidents attended the meeting and, offering greetings, expressed their full support for the nascent UNCC, from which they await proposals and plans to be reported to the appropriate bodies.
