Commitment with a capital I
Repetita iuvant: our ancestors rightly said, repetition helps, a famous saying that cannot fail to be applied to the hunting world and its commitment to solidarity. The last (but not least) example is that of the Venetian Hunters' Association – ACR, to be precise, the section of Molvena (province of Vicenza) who raised €10 with a quail dog trial. This sum will be donated to charity.
A gesture to be underlined
The event, organized by the local chapter, took place on March 15th in Colceresa and counted towards the 25th ACV-ACR Vicenza Provincial Championship. This year, the €10 raised will be donated entirely to the Città della Speranza Foundation, a beautiful gesture that deserves much greater attention.
The City of Hope Foundation
The Città della Speranza Foundation was founded in 1994 in memory of Massimo, a child who died of leukemia. For the past 31 years, its goal has been to intensify the fight against pediatric diseases and ensure a better future for children. Doctors, nurses, researchers, and volunteers have already accomplished much, saving life after life, but thanks also to generous donations from the hunting community, even more can be achieved.
