Mourning for the hunting world
Rebecca D'Antoni, Head of Sicily and Calabria for the National Coordination of Female Hunters of Federcaccia, and Giuseppe La Russa, President of Federcaccia Sicily, remembered Paola Gobbi, a key figure in the FIDC Hunters' Coordination , who passed away in the last few hours at just 63 years of age.
The memory
These are D'Antoni's words: " I will always carry you in my heart and among the most beautiful memories of my life. The first dates back to 2015, when I met you here in Sicily, and from the very beginning you were an example to me, a person to learn from and to look up to with admiration. You who always supported me, even from afar, and who sincerely rejoiced for me in every result achieved, with the affection and generosity that have always distinguished you. I have been fortunate enough to express my gratitude and affection to you every time I have had the opportunity, and this represents a precious comfort to me. I will continue to treasure your advice, your words and the path you have built with such skill and passion, as a great woman, hunter and dog lover that you were. A sunny, strong, competent and deeply passionate woman, capable of leaving a mark on all the people who were fortunate enough to know you. On behalf of all the Hunters of Federcaccia Sicily and Calabria, we join in the grief of Fabrizio, your children and The entire family, holding them close in this moment of immense pain for the loss of an extraordinary woman. Safe travels, Paola. Your memory and all you taught us will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved you.
Unbridgeable void
Here's what La Russa said: " Federcaccia Sicilia expresses its deepest condolences to Fabrizio, his children, and the entire family for the sudden and untimely passing of Paola. We will always remember her for all the human qualities that Paola possessed and for that open, sincere, and captivating smile that captivated and captivated you. I personally had the opportunity to meet her and appreciate her for what she was at a S. Uberto dog show held in Ramacca (CT) way back in 2015, where, as usual, she swept the board. Years later, at a Federcaccia national assembly, it was she herself who reminded me of that show and of the human warmth shown to her by the Federcaccia Sicilia group, which she held in her great heart. All of us, stunned, feel an unfillable void over this loss, which will also deprive our Association and the National Coordination of Federcaccia Women of her joyful and active presence ."
