FIBEC (Italian Federation of Woodcock Hunters) is pleased to present the third edition of the “Woodcock Day”Among the many candidates to host the event, the Puglia Region stands out. This year, it will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in Anzano di Puglia, in the province of Foggia. The initiative is sponsored by the Municipality, the Puglia Region, the Province of Foggia, and the Foggia Hunting Association, in collaboration with all the hunting associations in the area.
Woodcock but not only
A day dedicated to the woodcock, whose hunting and environmental value will be discussed and celebrated in the village of Anzano di Puglia. For the occasion, commercial and educational stands will be set up, entirely dedicated to the woodcock, thanks to the collaboration of Italy's leading organizations in the sector. The woodcock, as well as dog breeding, will be the focus of events and discussions. The woodcock dog will be the common thread throughout the day.
The study of the species
The goal of this annual traveling event, never before organized around a single wild species, is to build a new vision for all enthusiasts.
