Sunday 26 April the ISSF Skeet Formula The 2026 Interregional Grand Prix circuit was inaugurated, bringing a total of 148 athletes to the platform at the three designated venues: the Tav Zaino (BN), the Tav Montecatini-Pieve a Nievole (PT), and the Tav Santa Lucia di Piave (TV). We begin in Campania, with the Tav Zaino (BN), where 66 athletes registered. In the Excellence category, victory went to Giovanni Di Bari of Taranto (TA), first with a score of 93/100, ahead of Ivano Santucci of Rome, second with 81/100. In the Ladies' category, Claudia Fortunati of Rome won with a score of 63/100. Among the Junior Men, Michele Manzella (Fiamme Oro) of Manfredonia (FG) won with a score of 93/100, followed by Domenico Diana (Fiamme Oro) of Baia e Latina (CE), who took silver with a score of 92/100, and Francesco Pio Caporaso (Fiamme Oro) of Sant'Angelo d'Alife (CE), who took third with a score of 88/100. Among the Junior Women, the best result was Erika Cangiano of Baia e Latina (CE) with a score of 51/100.
Gold medals
In the other Categories and Qualifications, the gold medals went to: Antonio Iovine of Casagiove (CE), first in the First Category with 91/100; Luca Rusciano of Marano di Napoli (NA), winner of the Second Category with 93/100; Angelo Medici of Vairano Patenora (CE), first in the Third Category with 88/100; among the Veterans, victory went to Alberto Fattorini of Scanzano Jonico (MT) with 88/100; among the Masters, victory went to Sergio Forlano of Rome with 89/100. Moving to Tuscany, at the Montecatini-Pieve a Nievole (PT) high-speed train, there were 42 participants. In the Excellence category, Eros Marcellini of Rome won with 91/100, ahead of Paolo Micheli of Capannori (LU), second with 89/100, and Marco Becatti of Buonconvento (SI), third with 87/100. Among the Junior Men, the best score was Filippo Benci of Rosignano Marittimo (LI) with 90/100; second place went to Yari Giandolfi of Fucecchio (FI) with 88/100+2, ahead of Tommaso Calistri of Pistoia, third with 88/100+0.
Other rankings
Gold medalists in the other rankings were: Simone Pastacaldi of Pieve a Nievole (PT), first in the First Category and the highest overall score with 93/100; Sandro Bellini of Quarrata (PT), Skeet Technical Commissioner for the Youth Sector, won the Second Category with 91/100; and Gianni Bachisio Rizzittu of Arzachena (SS), first in the Third Category with 81/100. Among the Veterans, victory went to Mauro Baronti of Grosseto with 88/100, while the Masters category was won by Mauro Felatti of Florence with 84/100. Completing the picture of this first Interregional Grand Prix was Veneto, with the Tav Santa Lucia di Piave (TV), where 40 shooters took to the platform.
Prestigious results
In the Excellence Category, victory went to Gianluca Campanella of Rome (RM) with 86/100. Among the Junior Men, first place went to Franco Botton of Sernaglia della Battaglia (TV) with 90/100, followed by Giacomo Breda, also of Sernaglia della Battaglia (TV), second with 88/100, and Matteo Cavallin of Montebelluna (TV), third with 84/100. Among the Junior Women, Ada Fochesato of Malo (VI) won with 83/100. For the other Categories and Qualifications, the winners were: Mirco Pasquin of Fontaniva (PD), first in the First Category with 91/100 (best overall score); Luigi Sardo of Racconigi (CN), winner of the Second Category with 86/100; Luca Lusso of Istrana (TV), first in the Third Category with 78/100; Among the Veterans, victory went to Gianfranco Salbego of Gazzo (PD) with 90/100; among the Masters, victory went to Diego Antonietti of Sale Marasino (BS) with 78/100+1 (source: FITAV).
