Individual and teams
It will be the Montecatini Pieve a Nievole (PT) high-speed rail line to host, on Sunday, March 1, 2026, the Winter Individual and Regional Team Championships of the Youth Sector of Olympic Trap and Skeet, one of the most anticipated events of this first part of the season. The right to participate is reserved for FITAV-registered shooters born between 2005 and 2013.
Number of members
The individual competition will be held on 50 clays for everyone, with no finals. In the event of a tie for the top three positions, a shoot-off will take place according to the ISSF format. For the team competition, each Region may register an unlimited number of athletes and field one team for each specialty.
Competition and team spirit
In the men's Olympic Trap, the team will consist of four shooters from different qualifications (200 clays in total), in the women's Olympic Trap, three shooters (150 clays), with no qualification limit, while in Skeet, teams of two shooters and one shooter (150 clays in total) will be available, with open qualification. In the event of a tie for the podium, the sum of each team member's final series scores will count. Up for grabs are the Winter Champion titles, the Scudetto Tricolore, and FITAV medals for the top three finishers in each specialty and category.
