An exciting season
The competitive season of the Compak Sporting The sport of hunting continues with enthusiasm, and on Saturday, March 7th and Sunday, March 8th, the 1st Golden Grand Prix took place on the Umbrian stages of the TAV Olimpico in Foligno (PG). The federal event attracted 240 specialists from across Italy, confirming from the outset the interest this circuit arouses among enthusiasts of the discipline. Regarding the results, the top step of the podium in the Excellence Category was taken by Marco Battisti of Pesaro (PU), who achieved the best overall performance with a near-perfect 199/200. Reflecting the extremely high level of the category, the silver and bronze medals were awarded by the difference of just one clay: Michael Spada of Perugia placed second with 198/200, while Cristian Camporese of Padua finished third with 197/200.
The various sectors
In the Ladies' category, the best performance was achieved by Katiuscia Spada of Fabro (TR) with 192/200, a result that allowed her to clearly distance her pursuers. Behind her, Alessia Panizza of Lierna (LC) took silver with 181/200, while the bronze went to Veronica Bertoli of Gavardo (BS) with 178/200. Among the Juniors, victory was achieved by Samuel Ligi of Fermignano (PU) with 185/200, ahead of Jacopo Adamati of Rovato (BS), second with 183/200, and Simone Bobba of Arce (FR), third with 182/200. As for the other categories, Federico Busi of Verdello (BG) won in the First Category with 188/200, followed by Fabio Permunian of Boara Pisani (PD) with 185/200 and Gabriele Tintisona of Cisterna di Latina (LT) with 184/200. In the Second Category, victory went to Riccardo Rapanelli of Terni with 187/200, ahead of Michele Cipullo of Teverola (CE) with 186/200 and Fabrizio Rongoni of Pralboino (BS) with 183/200. In the Third Category, Emilio Chiappalupi of Orvieto (TR) took gold with 182/200, followed by Icilio Carminati of Perugia with 180/200, while the bronze went to Giuseppe Casertano of Casapulla (CE) with 178/200 +12.
Other results
In the Senior Qualifying, Alessandro Gaetani of San Miniato (PI) won with a score of 191/200, ahead of Paolo Arcangioli of Castiglione del Lago (PG) with a score of 190/200 and Francesco Bordoni of Terni with a score of 188/200. Among the Veterans, Mauro Bosi of Forlì (FC) won with a score of 192/200, followed by Carlo Duranti of Fermignano (PU) with a score of 188/200 and Carlo Sestini of Empoli (FI) with a score of 186/200. Finally, among the Masters, first place went to Giancarlo Ciofini of Perugia with a score of 175/200, ahead of Gian Mario Ferrari of Zanica (BG) with a score of 172/200 and Salvatore Valentini of Longiano (FC) with a score of 162/200 (source: FITAV).
