Situation to be contained
The action of the continues incessantly Ticino Park in support of the Lombardy Region and in particular of the Regional Veterinary Services to stem the serious epidemiological situation in progress. The Park Rangers, the Volunteer Ecological Guards and the Volunteer Wildlife Operators guarantee the protection of the territory in terms of passive search for carcasses and population control through culling, while the Wildlife Sector contributes to monitoring actions and, in collaboration with the Management, guarantees all support relating to data management and the implementation of general measures.
Gates closed
Despite the efforts made by the Ticino Park and all the institutions in the field, the virus continues to be present in our territory and the Lombardy Region has instructed ATS to close the gates in the extraordinary health fence built along the A4 motorway in the Municipality of Bernate Ticino. We therefore invite all our users to take note of this provision, organizing adequate alternative routes thanks to the vast network of paths of the Park.

We also remind you that it is essential that all hikers, who in various capacities frequent our Natural Park, adopt the biosecurity measures that must be respected to carry out outdoor activities such as trekking, fishing, biking, which can be easily identified on the Lombardy Region website.
