Twenty-four months without being able to use the hunting license. A 50 year old from Country, in the province of Treviso, was forced to give up hunting for two years due to a heavy accusation, that of having fired a few shots at other hunters, alleged "rivals". Investigations on the man led to the indictment and then the suspension e requisition of the rifle port license.
The defense has always been based on the lack of awareness of the presence of other people in the area and now the judges have agreed to the 50-year-old. In 2016 this person had fired some shots believed to be warning and not at head height, although close enough to scare the hunters. The complaint of the latter had relied on the present desire to put rivals on the run, as if man considered the area a personal reserve.
The suspect has always explained that he did not see anyone and that he only fired once. The blow, however, served a recall the dogs that were about to invade a private estate. The animals had no intention of turning back and something was needed to get their attention. The acquittal then arrived in court following the extraneousness of the facts.
