As reported by the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters, in these last days and in conjunction with the dates scheduled for the new requests and displacements of fixed stalking to the migratory, in Tuscany, a problem is arising which, if not addressed and solved, risks effectively preventing the possibility of being authorized new stakeouts. The same applies to site stalking for fixed stalking that fall within the Natura 2000 network areas and in particular the SIC (Sites of Community Interest), SIR (Sites of Regional Interest), ZPS (Special Protection Areas).
According to the CCT, the procedures and requests issued by the regional offices located throughout the territory are affected by a restrictive and misleading interpretation of the legislation and of what has already been established in the Regional Resolution 119 of 2018. In particular, for the stalking in question, the need to submit the EIA declaration by the hunter requesting (Environmental Impact Assessment), with increased costs and bureaucratic correspondence that are difficult to overcome and above all beyond any logic, considering that the authorizations would concern structures with very modest, if not zero, environmental impact.
According to the Confederation, it is an absolutely out of place interpretation and that therefore, legislation in hand, an urgent clarification is needed with the competent departments in defense of the rights of the many hunters, who in recent days have been denied or withdrawn the concessions, and forced to submit the necessary additional documentation. Following the requested meeting, all necessary initiatives will be evaluated to overcome this unfortunate situation that is producing uncertainty about the right to hunt for many enthusiasts.
