The Confederation of Tuscan Hunters on the uncertain fate of the Hunting Guards, “Safeguarding the skills of the Provincial Hunting Guards”.
There are many hypotheses at stake on the uncertain fate of the hunting guards, including that of dissolution and destination to other tasks. "It would be a serious misfortune - says the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters, to which Federcaccia, Arci adhere Hunting and Anuu - the dissolution of this body or its absorption, as is happening elsewhere, within the municipal police ”. Among the reasons for this stance, decisive and clear-cut, weighs a basic evaluation, dictated by experience, on the skills of a team, the "hunting" as they say, perhaps a little less than a century old: "The provincial police destined hunting and fishing activities are endowed with specific skills and knowledge that have made it possible over the years to make a substantial contribution to the management of the wildlife heritage of our region. Giving up this important resource does not lead to any savings, if this were the rationale for the hypotheses that circulate and would impoverish the potential not only for control but also for protection and prevention ”. Hence the appeal of the CCT: "We hope that public administrators know how to find the right way to preserve and enhance the wealth of experience and expertise connected to this sector".
