Hunting: Tuscany, amendments to Regional Law 88/2014 approved; nine provincial ATCs and SI to the sub-areas.
The Tuscany Region with the Press Release n.334 of 17 March 2015 announced that the text of the Regional Law 88/2014 has been unanimously modified in order to remove possible profiles of unconstitutionality. Nine Territorial Areas of Hunting provincial and SI to the sub-areas. Green light to the amendment of the law that lays down rules for the protection of homeothermic wildlife and for hunting in territorial hunting areas. The proposal was approved by the plenary with a unanimous vote. The bill intervenes to remove possible profiles of unconstitutionality from regional law 88/2014 on ATC, Territorial Hunting Areas, challenged by the Government last February.
Thus it is established that, for administrative purposes only, in Tuscany there must be nine Atc with borders corresponding to those of the provinces without prejudice to the union between Florence and Prato and denominated with the name of the capital city. It is also envisaged - and therefore no longer optional - the establishment of sub-provincial sub-areas, as required by national law 157/1992.
The law is signed by Loris Rossetti, Pd, president of the Agriculture commission, by Marco Spinelli, Pd, Ivan Ferrucci, Pd, Antonio Gambetta Vianna, Più Toscana, Claudio Marignani, Forza Italia, vice president of the Agriculture commission, and by Roberto Benedetti, Ncd .
In the council chamber, after a brief illustration by councilor Spinelli, president Rossetti withdrew some amendments presented and after him other councilors alternated, namely Benedetti, Ferrucci and Marco Carraresi of the UDC, with the withdrawal of further amendments. The text was finally approved unanimously by the Tuscan Council.
