Hunting in Tuscany. The regional classroom approved a bill on Wednesday “New provisions on the Territorial Areas of Hunting”, Which amends the current legislation on the matter, regional law 3 of 1994. The provision passed by majority vote, with the opposition voting against.
In the Chamber, it was illustrated by the president of the Second Commission, Gianni Anselmi. The current ones Territorial Areas of Hunting they will be able to carry out their functions until 31 December 2016 and no later than. In the meantime they will be divided into sub-provincial dimensions, according to what will be determined by the modifications to the hunting fauna plan.
The measure comes following the sentence of the Constitutional Court, which recently declared the reform of the Tuscany Region on the Territorial Areas of Hunting (ATC) illegitimate. In that reform, the ATCs had been reduced to 9, corresponding to the territories of the former provinces (with the merger of Florence and Prato) and the establishment of sub-provincial sub-areas was envisaged.
The new bill, signed by the councilor Leonardo Marras and the president Eugenio Giani, was created to ensure the operational continuity of the territorial hunting areas. In particular, the regulations intervene to allow the exercise of the Atc, providing for an intervention to reform the areas by the end of 2016. The Atc currently in office will continue to perform the functions considered indefectible by and no later than 31 December 2016. The law it also sets the deadlines for completing the reform by the end of this year: the agro-forestry-pastoral territory intended for programmed hunting will be divided into sub-provincial Atc by 30 November; the president of the region will appoint the governing bodies by 31 December.
