Hunting in Tuscany: After many battles, concrete and principled, from the regulation of the huts to the recognition of hunting as an activity present in the territory and useful for the agricultural economy, Arcicaccia, Federcaccia and Anuu, united in the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters, obtain an important result .
On 29 October the Tuscan Regional Council approved the definitive text of the bill 282 “Rules for the government of the territory”. Waiting for the official publication on the BURT, the CCT expresses its appreciation for the approval of some amendments for which it was committed and which allow for positive and innovative solutions to be given to matters pertaining to hunting activities.
Thanks to the commitment of the CCT, the path started in January in terms of stalking with the modification of the regional hunting law (3/94); there had been two extensions to the regulation of the holders of stalking, with the aim of allowing those changes to be accepted within the new law on the government of the territory for the parts of common interest; now with the approval of 29 October the game can be considered over.
The fixed positions indicated by the regional hunting law, as amended last January and which in article 6 bis defined the characteristics of the artifacts, are included in the “Free building activities”; it should be emphasized that the artifact is not subject to removal as long as there is the authorization of the Province. It is also clarified that for fixed postings carried out in a different way (article 34, paragraph 6 quater of LR3 / 94) and authorized by the province, it is possible to proceed with the SCIA.
Definitely innovative are the points that allow the creation of "Artifacts for agricultural activity and for the shelter of domestic animals" and for "Interventions on existing assets with non-agricultural use" which, among other things, open up spaces for the growth of collaboration between the agricultural and hunting world. In detail, it is possible to create new buildings, subject to compliance with the territorial and urban planning prepared by the municipalities. The new annexes, this is the salient fact, can also be used by subjects other than agricultural entrepreneurs: farmers will be able, for example, to build shelters for dogs and allow others to use them.
It will then be possible to intervene, always where provided for by the municipal territorial and urban planning tools, on the existing building heritage with non-agricultural destination to make it suitable for the needs related to hunting activity as defined by the implementing regulation of the hunting law.
