Hunting in derogation: Tuscany, satisfaction of the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters for the approval of the resolution that authorizes the withdrawal by derogation of starling and pigeon to protect agriculture.
Satisfaction, despite the application difficulties, of the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters, the association that gathers Federcaccia, Arcicaccia and Anuu, for the approval of the resolution on hunting notwithstanding the transfer and the pigeon: "This is a measure - affirms the CCT - which accepts our requests and constitutes a decidedly positive figure also in the interest of agricultural crops". Only three provinces that provided data on the pigeon, Lucca, Pistoia and Siena and therefore only these are included in the resolution approved on July 14th. "A relevant provision - argues the CCT - also for the determination with which the Region intended to punctually implement the provisions of the European Union directives, too often subject to forcing and reading that are not very objective or inattentive".
Finally, the CCT recalls that the main road, for species not at risk such as starling and for which there are no real obstacles except of a political nature, is reintegration among the species that can be hunted through the modification of the lists in the Community.
