Hunting: Tuscany, the new 2014-2015 Hunting Calendar was presented in the Region by the ass. Salvadori to the social partners.
Councilor Gianni Salvadori, in a meeting with the Provinces, the Hunting Associations, the Farmers' Organizations and the Environmental Associations held last Thursday, presented the proposal for the Hunting Calendar for the 2014/2015 season, already sent to ISPRA for its opinion required by law. This is a measure that largely confirms last year's choices, with some positive innovations such as the increase in the annual lark bag (increased from 50 to 100 head) and the re-understanding in the same act of hunting times for wild boar and to other ungulates. It also remains the possibility, as per the request formulated by the Confederation, once the data of the studies conducted on the species and its migration times have been published, to extend the woodcock harvesting season until the end of January 2014, in full compliance of Community legislation.
The Confederation of Tuscan Hunters, as it did during the meeting, expresses its appreciation for the draft Calendar, which was also considered positively by the other organizations present with the exception of the WWF representative, who insisted on a reduction in hunting times and species. .
