Marco Remaschi, Regional Councilor for Agriculture of the Toscana, explained to the Commission the regulation of implementation of the hunting law, also referring to the articles concerning the ungulates. Remaschi recalled above all the institutional reorganization and the functions assumed by the Region: hunting is also part of these, with the consequent handover from the provinces.
There were 91 regulations in the area and it was not easy to unify them all, but we are aiming decisively at a single text, respectful of traditions and which allows Tuscan hunters to exercise their hunting activity in a conscious way. One of the most interesting innovations is the one that allows you to distribute hunters in a balanced way in the regional territory on the basis of the hunting density, the rules of registration to the Territorial Areas of Hunting and mobility.
Among other things, the regulation in question explores the areas that have been removed from planned hunting, without forgetting the details relating to Restocking and Capture Areas, the Areas of Respect for Hunting and dog competitions. Perhaps some specific element is missing in the part concerning the ungulates, but in any case there will be several hearings in the next sessions of the commission.
