Four-year plan
The species control plan pigeon (Columba livia forma domestica), 2022-2026 of the Tuscany Region, led the councilors of Fratelli d'Italia, Gabriele Veneri and Vittorio Fantozzi, to present a motion which the Palazzo del Pegaso Chamber voted unanimously.

Starting from the need to implement the capture methods of the species, the act commits the president and the regional executive to open a discussion table with the Agriculture and Rural Development directorate and the Municipalities, to evaluate changes to the control plan, especially for contain the presence of pigeons in residential areas.
New capture methods
The motion also invites us to evaluate the inclusion of new capture methods, such as the use of nets on the ground, to reduce their presence in urban contexts, and therefore the critical issues in the various fields: environmental, health, ecological, agricultural and airport.
