La The Tuscan Regional Authority publishes three important resolutions on hunting. These are the topics: Digitization of practices relating to hunting, Pigeon control, containment measures of the PSA and a month's shift of stalking practices.
From March 1st the experimentation of the digital submission of authorization applications to the Region begins.
The Regional Council, with the attached resolution, has established that starting from 01.03.2022, gradually and experimentally, the citizen can present, in accordance with the provisions at national and regional level for the digitization of the Public Administration and as a first phase with respect to to the total of the proceedings of the competent sector of the Regional Council, the following online requests, through the portal RT Caccia of the Tuscany Region:
- application for renewal of fixed positions;
- application of new fixed positions;
- request for change of ownership for fixed positions;
- request for a new location for fixed positions;
- application to register for the exam to obtain the hunting qualification;
- application to register for the exam to obtain the qualification for the selective collection of ungulates (wild boar, roe deer, fallow deer, mouflon, red deer).
Further instances may be added to the previous ones, with a view to implementing the RT Caccia portal;
The competent sector of the Regional Council will, through a specific communication, inform stakeholders and citizens via the institutional website.
PSA: In the Province of Massa Carrara, until March 31, the control of the hunted wild boar is suspended and dog monitoring and training limited to non-wooded areas. In addition, the renewal deadlines and submission of new fixed posting requests have been moved by one month
The Tuscany Region, with the attached ordinance, as part of the measures for the prevention of the spread of ASF, has decreed the suspension in the Municipalities of the Province of Massa Carrara, coinciding with the ATC called "Massa 13" of the control and containment of the wild boar species performed collectively;
Furthermore, always in theATC Mass 13, training and dog training activities, dog competitions and wildlife monitoring with the use of dogs, can only be carried out in the following areas:
- non-wooded areas falling within the areas for training, training and dog races, as per art. 24 of Regional Law 3/94
- non-wooded areas falling within the Hunting Farms referred to in art. 21 of Regional Law 3/94
- non-wooded areas falling within the Wildlife Hunting Companies referred to in art. 20 of Regional Law 3/94;
Furthermore, the training and training activities of the follow-up dogs and the races of the follow-up dogs in the ATC Massa 13 can only be carried out in the fenced areas authorized for this purpose;
In all the regional territory, the ltranslocation to suitable areas or enclosures identified for this purpose, with the aim of killing and slaughtering, of the wild boars caught, to be destined according to the provisions of the Regional Council Resolution 41 of 20.01.2020, to the Parking Centers or to the Processing Centers;
Passive surveillance will then be strengthened through the execution of active searches for wild boar carcasses, primarily in the Province of Massa Carrara, also with the use of dogs employed in the activities organized by the Collective Prevention Sector, Health, Welfare and Social Cohesion Directorate;
The aforementioned provisions will be effective until March 31, 2022
The ordinance also postpones the deadline for the annual confirmation of the posting through payment of the regional concession fee by the holder of the authorization from 28 February to 31 March 2022 and consequently the deadline for the submission of requests for new posting authorizations. fixed: from 1 - 31 March to the period 1 - 30 April 2022;
Pigeon Control Plan approved
The Tuscany Region has approved, in accordance with art. 19 of Law 157/92 and art. 37 LR 3/94, the document “Regional control plan for pigeons (Columba livia forma domestica) 2022 - 2026” (annex A). Effective until December 31, 2026.
