A species no longer huntable
In the last few hours, the official communication from the Tuscany Region arrived, which closes, due to reaching the maximum number of slaughterable animals, the levy by way of derogation from the transfer. This species, therefore, is no longer among those that can be hunted.
The mid-month limit
Just two weeks ago, the Region had announced that the limit of 15.000 starlings had been reached. From that moment, therefore, in compliance with the resolution that authorized the derogation, the species could only be taken with the electronic card.
The relevant regional resolution
Pursuant to Resolution number 706 of 17 June 2024, it is necessary that the registration on the paper hunting license of starlings killed in derogation be communicated by individual hunters or their associations to the Tuscany Region.
