of Piedmont, Liguria and Valle d'Aosta on African swine feverThe total number of positive cases in wild boars has risen to 1.949. The number remains stable at 794 in Piedmont, rising to 1.155 in Liguria. Outbreaks detected in pig farms remain stable at 9.

"No new positive cases have been observed in wild boars in Piedmont. The regional total remains at 794 cases. No new outbreaks have been reported in pig farms in Piedmont."
Other numbers
In Liguria, two new positive cases have been detected in wild boars: one in the province of Genoa, in Serra Riccò (27 total), and one in the province of La Spezia, in Zignago (five). The total in the region has risen to 1.155 cases. The number of municipalities with at least one positive case of African Swine Fever remains stable at 187.
