16 regions in the competition
Sunday, October 5th proved to be a very auspicious day for Umbria, which, among the 23 teams from 16 Italian regions that took part in the competition to award the Regions Trophy for the non-Olympic specialty of the Caccia Course, managed to place both of its teams on the top step of the podium at the Foligno (PG) TAV.
The victories in detail
For the Category A teams (Categories), top honors went to Daniele Valeri, Michele Cipullo, Luca Scala, Simone Berti, Alberto Cardinali, and Moreno Cola of the "Umbria A" team, with a total score of 548/600. The silver medal went to the "Marche A" sextet: Enrico Lugli, Giuseppe Fratini, Filippo Ragni, Alessandro Broccoletti, Denis Fratini, and Massimo Balducci, with a final score of 525/600. Third place on the podium went to Salvatore Biancamano, Gaetano Loritto, Salvatore Leonardi, Riccardo D'Oca, Santo Condorelli, and Mario Costa of the "Sicilia A" team, with a score of 522/600. The Category B podium.
Other results
In the Category B team rankings (Qualifications), Veniero Spada, Paolo Arcangioli, Francesco Bordoni, Bruno Roccasecca, Alessandro Piantoni and Veronica Bertoli of the “Umbria B” team deserved the most precious metal medal with 541/600, in second place “Toscana B”, composed of Andrea Risi, Pier Luigi Fantozzi, Giuseppe Pupo, Roberto Risi, Carlo Sestini and Massimo Bellandi with 521/600, bronze medal for the six of the “Marche B” team Luca Romagnoli, Carlo Duranti, Samuel Ligi, Leandro Ragni, Tiziano Cecconi and Domenico Vallefuoco, third with 520/600.
