Shooting August
The FITAV Summer Regional Championships calendar returns to the forefront over the August bank holiday weekend with a new event dedicated to Universal Trench , scheduled for Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August. The event will be hosted by the TAV Norcia (PG), where Umbrian specialists will compete to win the individual and team Regional Titles.
50 targets
The event will be held over a distance of 50 clays and is open to all shooters with a valid FITAV membership card for the current year. Athletes registered in a region other than the organizing region may participate in the competition and compete for prize money, but not for the Regional Titles. The Regional Championship rankings, both individual and team, will be drawn up using the "zero difference" criterion, taking into account 75% of the events competed. The winners of the respective rankings will be awarded the Scudetto, the Regional Champion title, and the FITAV medal, while the second and third place winners will receive federal medals.
The final standings
For the team competition, each team will consist of three shooters, with a maximum of one athlete from the Excellence Category. The composition of the team will be determined at the end of the event based on the three best results achieved by members of the same club. The top three teams in the final rankings will be awarded FITAV honorary prizes (source: FITAV).
