A comparison on several points
Emiliano Galvanetto, Regional President of Federcaccia Veneto, along with his regional counterparts from ANLC, Enalcaccia, Arcicaccia, ANUU Migratoristi, EPS, and CPA, has requested an urgent meeting with Regional Councilor Dario Bond to discuss several key issues regarding the upcoming hunting season.
Hunting calendar
The request stems from the "partial suspension of the hunting calendar by the Regional Administrative Court, specifically the additional day for song thrush, redwing, and fieldfare in the province of Vicenza, and the two additional days for skylark." The request seeks to discuss with the Regional Department "strategies to be adopted to address this serious situation and determine whether the Region has appeared before the Council of State requesting a suspension (in light of the recent and important positive ruling by the Lombardy Regional Administrative Court (TAR) No. 02456/2026)."
Topics of general interest
The presidents of the Veneto hunting associations then asked the Councilor to discuss other issues of general interest with them, more specifically:
- regional tax reduction
- home delivery of the regional card
- Wild boar hunting season opens in all provinces according to Verona regulations
- resolve the issue of rings on recalls
- clarify the methods for marking the catches on the hunting license
- coordinate the activities of the provincial police
- preparation of expiring control plans
