Hunting: Veneto, Stival at the meeting of the Regions Coordination says he is satisfied with "unanimous proposals on wild boars and ISPRA opinions".
“I am very satisfied: we shared a reasoning on environmental issues and on the rights of hunters without ideological or political barriers, defining, unanimously on my proposal, an agenda of issues to be submitted to the next government to give clarity and firm points to the sector. , because it is time to stop managing hunting decisions before the Regional Administrative Courts ”. This was underlined by the councilor for hunting of the Veneto Region Daniele Stival, at the end of the meeting of the coordination of the Italian Regions in the field of agriculture and hunting, held in recent days in the Roman office of the Puglia Region.
Stival indicates the main problems on the mat that will need to be addressed and solved. "First of all - he underlines - serious support is needed to the agricultural world and to protected areas, such as Parks, to respond to the now absolutely excessive presence of wild boars, which involves environmental damage and road safety risks in various areas of the 'Italy and Veneto, using the collaboration of expert hunters and providing for specific exceptions for the hunting ability of this animal ”.
“Then there is the question, still unresolved, of Ispra's opinions - adds Stival - around which many of the appeals that end in front of Tar revolve. At the proposal of Piedmont and with my full support - reports Stival - we unanimously proposed that the drafting of the Ispra opinions on the hunting calendar be divided by territorial bands (north, central and southern Italy) as is already done by advanced countries such as France and Germany. ".
“It is unthinkable - adds the councilor Veneto - that we continue to manage this delicate aspect by pretending that the passage of migratory fauna is the same as in Bolzano and Sicily. Everyone knows that this is not the case - concludes Stival - and that there are great differences which it is absolutely necessary to take into account ”.
