During the last session of the Third Permanent Commission of Veneto Regional Council chaired by Marco Andreoli (Liga Veneta), Vice President Cristina Guarda (Europa Verde), attended by the Regional Councilor Cristiano Corazzari, was incardinated and subsequently illustrated the draft regional law n. 77, on the initiative of the regional council, entitled "Regional wildlife-hunting plan (2021-2026), redetermination of the term of validity of the regional wildlife-hunting plan approved with regional law no. 5 and amendments to the regional law 2007 December 1, n. 9 Regulations for the protection of fauna and for hunting ”.
The Commission, at the outset, focused mainly on the methods of examination and hearing of stakeholders relating to the substantial legislative proposal that was presented below, retracing the complex preliminary procedure. The proposal is structured in four chapters and nine articles. In summary, in Chapter I, the validity of the 31-2022 PFVR is expected to be redetermined as of 2007 January 2012, in order to guarantee the realization of the upcoming 2021/2022 hunting season in a defined planning and management context; the Head provides, as for the previous restatements of the term of validity and for the aforementioned reasons, that the provisions referred to in paragraph 2 of article 3 of the Implementing Regulation in force do not apply PFVR 2007-2012 relating to the renewal of the management bodies of the Territorial Hunting Areas.
Chapter II, relating to the PFVR 2021-2026, approves the PFVR 2021-2026, with indication of the plan documents and the environmental assessment documents connected to the Plan itself, and the validity and starting date of the PFVR 2021-2026 is defined, identified on the day following the end of the 2021/2022 hunting season. In Chapter III, changes are identified to the regional law of 9 December 1993, n. 50 "Regulations for the protection of fauna and hunting", functional to guarantee effective implementation of the plan provisions. Chapter IV, relating to transitional provisions and abrogations, provides for measures aimed at guaranteeing continuity to the management bodies of territorial hunting areas and alpine areas up to the establishment of new management bodies in implementation of the PFVR 2021-2026. The more detailed examination of the Proposal will continue during the next sessions of the Commission (Source: Veneto region).
