Regional control plan
This is a call that is part of the implementation of the regional nutria control plan - activity 2023 / 2024, the latter approved with DGR no. 1069/2021 and DGR n. 1329/2022. “We open the second edition of the nutrie call after the good response we had last year with the first edition which allowed us to commit all the funds allocated and in which 58 public entities from all the provinces participated – intervenes the regional councilor for Cristiano Corazzari fighter -.
Proliferation of the species
With these calls we are alongside local authorities, parks and reclamation consortia which are at the forefront in combating the proliferation of nutria, a dangerous species for public safety for example from a health point of view because it can potentially transmit leptospirosis and for traffic as their dens can cause collapses of roads and embankments". Priority will be given to applications received from entities that did not participate in the first edition of the call. While the submission of applications by subjects who have already participated in the 2022 call is subject to the conclusion of the interventions and the presentation of the related final report (source: Veneto Region).
