First of all, the paragraphs 11 and 12 of article 21 of Regional Law 50 of 1993, according to which hunters must pay to the ATC and CA steering committees a basic contribution of an amount not exceeding 100 thousand lire. These are the Areas and Districts in which the same hunters practice hunting migratory game in wandering form. The sum is reduced by half in the case of fixed posting. Furthermore, for sedentary game hunting, the contribution must not exceed three times (ATC) and six times (CA) the basic contribution.
Mr Berlato pointed out that some steering committees, in particular that of theATC Verona 6 "Great Valleys", do not respect the law: consequently, the hunters have paid higher sums than those listed above. The control in this case would lie with the Provinces. This is why the regional councilor has decided to question the council to find out whether or not it will intervene with the provinces in order to ensure compliance with the law.
