The steps of the podium
The tenth edition of the CONI Trophy The 2019 Clay Pigeon Shooting Championships crowned its champions at the Tav Porpetto (UD) facility, the competition venue designated by the host region, Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Veneto took the top step of the podium, thanks to the efforts of seventeen-year-old Beatrice Zainotto from Mira (VE) and fifteen-year-old Leonardo Mallia from Spinea (VE), who combined for a score of 87/100. The silver medal went to the hosts, Friuli-Venezia Giulia: seventeen-year-old Alessia Fontana from Gradisca d'Isonzo (GO) and thirteen-year-old Nicola Da Re from Chions (PN), who finished second with 84/100. The bronze medal went to Piedmont, with sixteen-year-old Alice Garoppo from Mombello Monferrato (AL) and thirteen-year-old Umberto Iorianni from Cascinette d'Ivrea (TO), who finished with a score of 82/100.
Individual performances
In the men's individual events, the winner was thirteen-year-old Gabriele Duggento of Cascinette d'Ivrea (Turin), Piedmont, who scored 45/50 in qualifying and 21/25 in the final. Second place went to Lazio specialist Alessio Guidi, a thirteen-year-old from Scandriglia (Rimini), who achieved the best qualifying score (47/50) and 20/25 in the final. Fourteen-year-old Giacomo Villani of Cannole (Lecce), Puglia, took third place, finishing sixth in qualifying with 42/50 and then third in the final with 19/25.

In the women's event, the gold medal went to 15-year-old Francesca Iorianni of Cascinette d'Ivrea (Turin), who finished with a score of 44/50 in qualifying and 20/25 in the final. Silver went to Beatrice Zainotto of Veneto, who finished second after a score of 43/50 in qualifying and 19/25+1 in the final. Finally, the bronze medal went to 16-year-old Michelle Lisca of Lombardy, who finished sixth in qualifying with a score of 41/50+2 and third in the final play-off with a score of 19/25+0 (source: FITAV).
