The two specimens captured
13 years after the capture of Veneto 1 in Galzignano Terme (PD), the first woodcock equipment in Italy, on the evening of January 7th we returned with a “bang”. With great satisfaction, our expert and collaborator of the Federcaccia Studies and Research Office, Alessandro Tedeschi, captured two woodcocks. After having recorded their biometric data and after having ringed them and equipped them with the satellite transmitter, the two woodcocks were immediately released. They were subsequently named Polish and Deltina.
The role of Federcaccia
“All this was possible thanks to the commitment of our former Vice President of Federcaccia Nazionale Lorenzo Carnacina. Together with me, the Provincial President of Federcaccia Padova, Riccardo Masin, and the entire historic group of Federcacciatori di Galzignano” – declared Oscar Stella, National Presidency Councilor and Regional Manager of Veneto.
The defense of the hunting world
Stella then added: “Full steam ahead, collecting data to then produce studies to support our traditional hunts, but above all to defend the entire hunting world in the various courts”.
