Over two quintals. The weighing of the wild boar shot by was a great surprise Patrick Tulli in the Marche countryside of Montegiorgio, locality in the province of Fermo. As reported by the Rest of the Carlino, we are talking about one of the hunters who have received the authorization from the Province for the hunting ungulates in areas near agricultural fields and houses, in order to put a stop to damage to crops.
In this part of the Marche there are too many wild boars and hunting is the solution adopted to solve the problem. Tulli has been stationed in a corn field and waited for the arrival of wild animals. Shortly after sunset the wild boars came out of the woods and started looking for food, then the Montegiorgese hunter shot and managed to shoot down the largest of the pack. The overall weight was equal to well 208 kilograms, a number that makes an impression and that suggests what damage would have been caused to farmers, without forgetting the consequences for the safety of people.
