Assoarmieri & Beretta: The leading company in the sector, in a moment of difficulty, helps its partners to associate with the body that represents them, through a gesture with a high symbolic value.
Fabbrica d'Armi Pietro Beretta has created a limited edition of the 98FS cal9x21 pistol, reserved for all Italian gunsmiths, who will be able to purchase it starting from October.
The purchase price of the pistol will include the annual membership fee to Assoarmieri which will be completely absorbed by Beretta. The limited edition, made in 600 copies, is characterized by a silk-screen printing of the Assoarmieri logo, rubber grips and dedicated matriculation field.
On 25 October 2012, in the spaces of Beretta Gallery Milan, the top management of Assoarmieri and Fabbrica d'Armi Pietro Beretta met to present the important initiative to the media and to prominent personalities in the hunting world. “It is with great satisfaction that I express all my appreciation for the beautiful and interesting initiative”, comments the lawyer. Antonio Bana - President of Assoarmieri. “The Beretta Arms Factory has created for Assoarmieri a limited edition of the 98F model pistol cal.9 × 21 reserved for all Italian gunsmiths. It is an important step for an ever stronger union to be all united, small and large, with a view to growth in the arms industry.
In a moment "shaken" by legislative and political innovations, by countless difficulties also linked to commercial activity, the industry, in the figure of the Beretta Arms Factory, lends a hand to the gunsmiths to achieve a first collaborative goal that I hope can be a stimulus to many, of interest to many and a push for all of us gunsmiths, in order to achieve new goals and always have that enthusiasm and passion that distinguishes this activity.
We must all raise the level of credibility and professionalism together to be ever stronger in the face of the countless attacks that are launched daily against the world of weapons, hunting and the hunting environment. I hope this first initiative with the Beretta Weapons Factory will be the first of new and future collaborations ".
Dr. Stefano Quarena - Sales Director Commercial Market Pietro Beretta Arms Factory - comments on the operation. "In a moment of general difficulty from the point of view of the retail trade, aggravated by some local situations in which the opening of the hunt has suffered hindrances and limitations that slow down the activity of our gunsmiths, we thought, as a leading company in the sector , to help our partners in continuing to support the trade association that looks after and protects their interests. The solution identified together with Assoarmieri wants to be, as well as a concrete help, also a symbolic gesture enclosed in a limited edition object, destined to enter the collections of our gunsmiths to celebrate and remember, over time, the values in which we believe and which we share.
For years now Beretta has set up a training and improvement path for the sales network, called Target Project, with the aim of helping gunsmiths to increase their business management skills in a competitive context and in an economic scenario that is radically changed compared to the past, and this operation with Assoarmieri is another small piece that helps the achievement of this ambitious goal. The industry can continue to grow if the distribution partners grow with it. "
