The judges of the Regional Administrative Court of Calabria have expressed their opinion in recent days on the appeal filed by a man against the Cosenza Police Headquarters and the Ministry of the Interior. The TAR assessed the case of this person who held a rifle-carrying license from 2012 to 2018. Then the revocation became effective due to a referral by the Public Prosecutor's Office for some crimes, including those related to the use of weapons. Here is what the judges decided: “In particular, the complaints concerning the vice of excess of power for misrepresentation of the facts are well founded. The provision of the Chief of Police is illegitimate, because he mistakenly believes that the presence of a previous provision for the revocation of a weapon carry is, in itself, an impediment to the presentation of a new application for the issue of a license to carry a weapon " .
