Animal rights activists allegedly tampered with the circus fence: on the spot carabinieri, police, firefighters and Asur veterinarians. Only last week some animal rights activists had reported the presence in the circus of two Chow Chow dogs wearing panda make-up. The two animals were kidnapped by the forest police and the circus owner was sued for animal abuse and fraud against spectators.
