Two years later, the Court of Como acquitted two people who had been accused of poaching after theintervention of a gamekeeper a Gravedona. In fact, in October 2014, the agent noticed a net left in the woods to catch small birds: between the meshes there was a bird and the gamekeeper decided to take a post and wait for the poachers to arrive to catch them in the act.
Shortly thereafter, a man arrived and released the bird, while the owner of a nearby cottage burned the net for fear of being blamed for no reason. There was also a quarrel between the gamekeeper himself and the owner of the cottage. The story has continued until today and the defense of the accused has highlighted how the man who had removed the bird was a simple chestnut hunter and was in the area by chance. Poaching charges fell for both of them, while the owner of the cottage will have to serve six months for resisting the gamekeeper during the dispute.
