From Hungary to Poland
We report below the latest note from ACMA: “A third is added gurnard to the small group of migratory birds and we are now almost halfway through May! The route seems very similar to that of its previous one which has currently moved from Hungary to Poland. We will see the definitive positions, but the preliminary information that these animals are giving us is already very interesting, for example the migratory lines, unlike other species, seem more Nordic. The sample is still small, however”.
Great satisfactions
This is the previous update from the association: “In these days of bad regulatory news for the hunting world, at least our beloved hens are giving us great satisfaction”.
Surprise and admiration
The ACMA note continued: “We are following with great surprise and admiration the never-before-seen migration of these apparently clumsy rails. Inevitably, they are teaching us many new things, both starting from southern Italy, they are heading north and at the moment they are one in Latvia and one in Hungary. We will see if they will stop here… keep following us!”.
