Hunting season 2024-2025
We report below the note released in the last few hours by ACMA (Association of Migratory Aquatic Hunters) regarding one of the viruses that should not be underestimated even though it is less talked about: “The important social contribution of hunting activity continues also in this hunting season through the avian flu monitoring in the felled heads”.
A stable and solid collaboration
The text continues: "Especially in the regions at greatest risk, such as Veneto (through the delivery of packages), Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna, a stable and solid collaboration has been created with local ASL and Zooprophylactic Institutes. An activity that allows us to help society as a whole and to safeguard the use of live decoys".
Thanks to the hunters
ACMA added: “Thanks to all the hunters who are participating in this voluntary work!” Avian flu is a highly contagious infectious disease, caused by an influenza A virus (orthomyxovirus), which affects several species of wild and domestic birds.
