Wildlife management
On May 6, 2023, the 45th national assembly of theAquatic Migrant Hunters Association (ACMA) of the Italian Hunting Federation at the headquarters of the Conero Park, testifying that wildlife management must be based on the collaboration between the hunting world and the naturalistic management of protected areas. In recent years, in fact, a partnership has begun between the Conero Park Authority and the ACMA for a satellite telemetry project, as specified by the President of the Conero Park Authority, lawyer Daniele Silvetti in his speech, hoping in a long collaboration for the safeguard of certain migratory species. The ACMA president Gabriele Fasoli shares the same opinion who, after illustrating the various activities carried out in these difficult years, highlighted some critical issues such as the well-known aging of hunters, a topic in which they want to invest heavily starting from next year's elections and other issues such as the prohibition of the use of lead and hunting calendars, and the results obtained with bird flu in comparison with the technical bodies which have finally also incorporated the observations and expectations of the hunters registered with the ACMA.
The main interventions
The regional councilor Marco Ausili spoke at the meeting, representing the Marche Region who, after having brought greetings from the governor Avv. Acquaroli, illustrated with a brilliant and exhaustive speech, what is the position and initiatives that the Marche Region intends implement in the near future for hunters. Subsequently, the national councilor of the ACMA Stefano Simeoni punctually summarized the final and budget balance sheets which, in this regard, was also joined by the past president Alfonso Lenzoni who demonstrated how even a small sectoral one such as the ACMA was able in these 10 years of satellite research to raise and invest around 378.000 euros in defense of ornithological and hunting truth. Then followed the intervention of Dr. Marco Fasoli who illustrated the "secondary" social research activities carried out lately with excellent results, explaining how the ACMA intends to involve young people in the near future, also in collaboration with the national Fidc. The representative of the Young Hunters Group of the Italian Hunting Federation of the Marche Region, Michele Merola, was of the same opinion, who after thanking all those present highlighted the difficulties faced by young hunters and the expectations for the future.
Whisk and snipe
Following the more technical interventions of Prof. Dimitri Giunchi of the University of Pisa who summarized the satellite research carried out with Acma from 2013 to today on the various species, dr. Daniel Tramontana who summarized the data on the whisk and snipe study and Dr. Michele Sorrenti with the problems related to hunting calendars, between dates and species continuously questioned and the questionable opinions of Ispra. Among the interventions also that of the lawyer Mario Basile, present representing the Fidc National Council, who brought greetings from the national president Massimo Buconi and thanked the Conero Park Authority for its collaboration, finally the intervention of the regional councilor ACMA Federici Graziano who presented the project for satellite telemetry that is being created within the Marche Region. The closing of the works is entrusted to the national ACMA president Gabriele Fasoli who thanked the Marche section of the ACMA which organized the assembly with commitment and efficiency thanks to the coordination of the regional councilor Federici Graziano and his collaborators Sandro Mazzarini, Renato Venturi, Bianco Lorenzo, the lawyer Francesco Paci and the lawyer.
