As the year comes to a close in the period in which waterfowl hunting tends to give us less excitement, fortunately scientific research is ready to bring us new joys. The satellite telemetry activity in Friuli-Venezia-Giulia begins with gratification with the equipment of 7 coots which, if all goes well as it should, will allow us to conclude the four-year study on this species.
We will update you soon on the other species being studied. Keep following us and share our posts on all possible channels because still too few hunters and people in general know about these very important studies.
Special thanks to the University researchers and our Vice President Lionello Marcato for following the field work. (ACMA – Association of Migratory Water Hunters)
