Interesting news
The ACMA (Aquatic Migratory Hunters Association) has returned to provide some interesting updates regarding the satellite telemetry. The project allows us to monitor various species in their migration, an initiative - as can be imagined - of high scientific value.
The season of research
Here is what the ACMA wrote in the last few hours: “Sorry for the absence of this last period, but we are hunters first and foremost. Despite the absurd heat and the usual equally absurd vicissitudes in the Tar, the hunting season has begun and it seems to be promising. However, the research season is no exception and we start immediately with a good return".
Coots and equipment
The association then added: “In fact, a few years later we went to Friuli-Venezia-Giulia together with researchers from the University of Pisa to equip 11 coots with satellite transmitters. We are now anxiously waiting to see if everything works well and if this powerful rally will have more wonderful surprises in store for us like last year. In the duck's beak everyone!” (source: ACMA).
