The municipal councilor in Sant'Agata dei Goti (BN), Cesare Serino, regional delegate for ACR Campania in a press release highlights the importance of Regional Law number 26 of 9 August 2012.
"As Regional Representative of the Association for the Defense and Promotion of Rural Culture, I thought it appropriate to send a press release to the entire regional assembly to represent the importance of one of the recent laws issued by the Campania Region, in this case the number 26 of 9 August 2012, a new law on the protection and safeguarding of fauna in the activity of hunting, a law that renews the system and the concept of hunting and in particular a law that allows all sector associations to participate to the management system of territorial hunting areas, compared to the obsolete previous regional law 8/96, which allowed only three sector associations out of seven to manage ATCs ".
"Subject: Regional Law number 26 of 9 August 2012.
The regional law number 26 of 9 August 2012 represents in summary the epilogue of what has been a cultural battle that has characterized the policy for environmental protection for over twenty years.
The sensitivity of the institutions towards the environment combined with the ars venandi has allowed the aggregation of multiple identities. This identity pluralism has favored and allowed the achievement of common objectives, participatory, shared, transparent objectives. It is no coincidence that Law 26/2012 during its procedural process was voted unanimously by the entire regional council, 58 votes out of 60.
The Department of Regional Affairs of the Presidency of the Council has slightly perfected and refined some paragraphs of Law 26/2012 but fully shared what was promulgated by the Campania Regional Council, and in particular paragraph 4 of art. 36, which is the undisputed paragraph of the greater participatory representation of all the components in hunting wildlife management.
This is to say that the fundamental principles of democracy, that is transparency, participation and sharing, with the Regional Law 26/2012 are particularly evident precisely with paragraph 4 of article 36, which places all hunting associative components: hunting belongs to hunters and hunters must manage it, all indiscriminately, with no difference between hunters, as there are no differences between them nor between their representatives.
The institute of the Territorial Areas of Hunting and of the management bodies has reason to be by virtue of the taxes paid by practitioners of the hunting art. Nevertheless, someone is trying, once again, to promote anachronistic and unrealistic initiatives against this law which is precisely an expression of participation and undisputed transparency, also putting their finger on articles that have passed the approval of the constitutional court.
We therefore trust in the common sense of President Caldoro and of the entire Campania Regional Administration, so that, with this law, the actors are hunters in symbiosis with the institutions and other associations in the sector, which hunters are and will simultaneously be in addition to actors, spectators and directors of the ars venandi.
The occasion is propitious to represent that the Rural Culture Association is close to the world of nature in its various manifestations and above all it promotes the defense of the traditions that the agricultural world and the rural world have composed over the course of history in order to erect the man at the highest social levels.
Yours sincerely.
