The Association for Rural Culture of Veneto, together with all the Associations that have joined its cultural project, has repeatedly urged the Regional Council of Veneto to issue the regional hunting calendar for the 2022/2023 hunting season, a legal obligation which he had to fulfill no later than 15 June 2022.
The Veneto regional council, always eager to ask the citizens of Veneto to respect the law, has decided to summon in a Carbonaro way only the managers of some recognized hunting associations in the Veneto, inexplicably and illegitimately excluding others.
What the regional councilor for hunting and his managers said to each other is a deep mystery, just as mysterious are the advice that the managers of the notorious "hunting control room" provided to the unfortunate councilor to induce him to make choices that, we hope they do not follow the disastrous ones carried out under dictation during the last hunting season in which the regional hunting calendar was the subject of five appeals by the animal-environmentalist world and as many suspensions by the Regional Administrative Court of Veneto.
The hunting world of Veneto is discovering and undergoing in these days the nauseating miasmas emerging from the recent new Regional Hunting Wildlife Plan 2022/2027 and is horrified at the idea of what the contents of the new regional hunting calendar could be, born from the agreement between the Regional Council. and some hunting leaders whose competence and preparation are sadly known to all of us.
After having held the Carbonari meetings with some hunting managers, what is the Regional Council waiting for to issue the 2022/2023 hunting calendar given that, as of July 4, 2022, no trace of this provision is yet to be seen?
Perhaps the regional council and the hunting managers of the notorious "control room" are waiting for all the hunters to have paid the huge annual government and regional concession fees, the access fees to the Territorial Areas of Hunting and the Alpine Areas, before tell them how they will go hunting (maybe) during the next hunting season?
But what respect do they have for their administrators and their associates if they allow themselves to treat them in this way, almost as if they were subjects on whom to impose the obligation to pay before even knowing what they will get in return?
We have been waiting for some years to know when the Examination Commissions will be convened to allow aspiring hunters to be able to obtain the qualification to practice hunting. Yet these aspiring hunters paid upfront all costs to take the exams.
Is it possible that the hunting directors of the phantom "control room" do not care about these aspiring hunters and that they do not feel the duty to apply adequate pressure to the regional councilor while they meet in secret to talk about "their private things" ???
As happens in the séances, as well as in the carbonare ones, we hope that the ghost of common sense materializes in such a way that, for once, the sense of duty towards the citizens is privileged rather than getting lost in the camarille of the basement of Palazzo Balbi (Hon. Sergio Berlato - National President of the Association for Rural Culture).
